Since the summer reading project I've discovered the Throne of Glass sires and it's a pretty good one I must add. during the summer I finished book 1 and 2 and i am still waiting for 3. I would blog about book 2 but I don't know if i can b/c technically I finished it before I started my reading blog so oh well. but beside the point the book I am reading until book 3 comes out is The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien. I did read it in 7th grade but I like the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit books so I am re-reading it. My logic on re-reading a book because there are going to be details that I have missed and I want to go back and pick those details up.And let me say I've missed a lot of details since the first time I read the book.
But I'm OK with missing the details because I like when I've read a book and re-read it and found some detail that I missed. Along with the details the Hobbit from the first time I read it i liked the book. I do know a lot of people who cannot stand the books but I personally like the story it has. I like that the story goes into detail about every event and it's back story. But I will say this the Lord Of the Rings and Hobbit books are not for everyone, it is the type of book that you choose to read. you can't just pick it up and expect to be sucked into the book right away. The hobbit is a book that you read because you want to. if not you will hate the book from page 1.
Well those are some of my thoughts on the Hobbit. obviously not everything or else this blog would be way to long. With the amount of content of the book I could be blogging about it long after I finish the book and started a new one.
